Is NextBill really free?+
Yes. Casual splitting is free forever, no card required — 1 group with up to 6 people and bills, and 3 receipt scans a month. CSV export of your history and statements is free too. Pro unlocks unlimited groups and scans, currency conversion, reminder emails you send, and duplicating groups.
Is there a mobile app?+
Yes — NextBill is free on the App Store and Google Play. It's the same account either way, so you can scan a receipt at the table on your phone and open the same bill on a laptop later. The app works offline too: add a bill with no signal, and it's sent when you're back online.
Do the people I split with need an account?+
No. Only you need an account. Everyone with an email gets their exact share and a private link to pay you from, no sign-up needed. Someone without an email, like Lola, you add by name.
How am I charged for Pro?+
On the website, securely through PayMongo in the Philippines (₱99/mo) or Paddle internationally ($2.49/mo or $24.99/yr). In the app, through the App Store or Google Play (₱99/mo or ₱990/yr in the Philippines). Your card stays with the processor or the store — NextBill never stores your card number.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. On the website, in one click from the pricing page; in the app, from your App Store or Google Play subscriptions. You keep Pro through the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account reverts to Free automatically.
Does NextBill handle the money?+
No — we're not a payment processor for your group. NextBill does the math and sends each person their share. They pay you directly, from your QR in their bank or e-wallet app with the amount ready, or in cash, and you mark it paid when it arrives.
Is my data safe?+
